It is a park in which the territory features (Francavilla – Pescara – Italy) blend with the need for a “park for all”, highlighting the relationship with the surrounding landscape. The project includes a theatre, which frames the unique view of the sea, a vertical garden, which pushes the gaze to the mountains, a “square”, the gathering place, and a play area free of barriers.
The chosen theme is “Water and Earth”, two elements that symbolize the existing border between the disabled and non-disabled people, as well as the differences that exist between natural and artificial elements. These contrasts characterize the different areas of the park through the use of materials that aim at stimulating the five senses. Underlining these differences, we try to cancel them.
